Mechanical Engineer
Electric Motor Rewind And Overhaul Services
- Dismantle and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing parts on AC and DC motors, generators and all types of pumps
- Experience in reading, measuring and using instruments
- Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines, electrical cables
- Experience in use of pullers both mechanical and Hydraulic
- Experience in use of heating torch may be and added advantage
- Coordinate with Engineers to work on solutions
- Coordinate with cleaning and painting staff to repair and overhaul equipment
- Dismantle faulty tools and assemblies and repair or replace defective parts
- Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools and dimension measuring equipment
- Check accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies
- Experience in removing and installing bearing and seals
- Experience in ready measuring instruments including micrometer screw gauge, grinding, drilling, tapping and reaming
- Ensuring QUALITY of all work all the time
- Ability to work under pressure, night shifts and attend off-site work (AOS)
- Mechanical diploma (may also consider others).
- Good command of spoken and written English and Hindi.
- Strong communication skills for effective communication with, senior Management, sub-ordinates, clients, auditors and authorities.
- Able to teach well in English and Hindi.
- Strong leadership skills, with ability to operate in line with the authority
